Low carb mushroom stew is very easy to make and a really delicious side dish. I don’t have any exact measurements for this recipe, I just put however much of the ingredients I feel like using in a casserole.
Here’s what you will need:
- Fresh mushrooms
- Heavy cream
- Salt and pepper
Slice your mushrooms and put them in a casserole. Pour heavy cream over the mushrooms. Add salt and pepper. Let the mushroom stew cook until the heavy cream thickens.
You can also use the same ingredients to make a mushroom sauce. If you want to thicken the sauce more quickly, you can use an egg yolk.
