When you are new to the Atkins diet, it can be very helpful to look at other people’s low carb menus to see what they ate during the induction phase. However, be sure to check out Atkin’s list of allowed foods for phase1 here before you are getting started, so you know what you can and cannot eat instead of trusting other people’s menu blindly. As you can see, splenda and diet soda is allowed. I personally stay away from diet soda and splenda and recommend you do it too. It is important to eat as natural as possible, and that doesn’t include artificial sweeteners.

Atkins friendly recipes - This is Atkins company’s official website where you can build your own menus and browse their database of over 1500 recipes. Again, I recommend eating real, natural food instead of artificial sweeteners, bars and shakes.
